Shoulder Sculpting Superset
To Carve Out Your Ideal Proportions

Whether you are male or female, carving out an aesthetically pleasing physique with ideal proportions and spectacular symmetry requires some extra special attention dedicated to your shoulder training. I guarantee that bringing out the fine details of your sculpted shoulders is a surefire way to catch the attention of the opposite sex, as well as your gym buddies.

The foundation of your shoulder development will be built through compound pressing movements such as the Military Press, Arnold Press, or standard Dumbbell Shoulder Presses (preferably using a neutral grip). Incorporating these movements played a huge role in adding size to my shoulders, but it's the isolation exercises that brought out the finer details.

Here's a great superset utilizing isolation exercises, creating a finished and polished look to your shoulders...


NOTE:
I also perform the upright rows with a wider grip, which really hits the outer shoulders hard!

This superset is part of the Herculean Hypertrophy 4-week workout program, which is available in the
Metabolic Masterpiece body sculpting workout collection. The Rear Delt Cable Fly's and Upright Rows make for a great finisher at the end of a killer shoulder workout! The RDCF's hit your shoulders a little different than a bent over raise and really allows you to focus and concentrate on your rear delts. Be sure not to go too heavy with this exercise and aim for high reps. Thanks to my workout partner, I've been using weight plates for Upright Rows. This makes the movement more fluid.

Dedicating an entire workout to shoulders has played a tremendous role in successfully developing my shoulders. Shoulder workouts really bring out the physique artist in me because I pay so much attention to the detail by working each head of the deltoid. It's fascinating to see these muscles working in the mirror during the exercises. This is what training for looks is all about. It's a wonderful fascination with your ability to sculpt and shape your body into a work of art.

Here's a twist on front raises using the rope and low pulley...


You won't want to go too heavy with the weight in order to keep the focus on the front delts.

Let's face it... aside from powerlifters and athletes, the vast majority of people who begin a workout program, do so because they want to look better... they want to look hot! So if your goal is to look hot, shouldn't you train for looks?
